Open Data

Open data are sets of information and data that are freely available and accessible to anyone. These data are provided with no restrictions on use, which means they can be used and redistributed by any individual or organization, without the need for permissions or legal restrictions. The Government of the State of Ceará, in order to increasingly improve transparency and promote Social Participation, now makes its data available in a different way, enabling computer programs to access data more easily, through the Application Programming Interface ( Application Programming Interface – API). The availability of an API in the public sector allows direct access to government data and information in a structured and standardized way. This strengthens transparency, allowing citizens, businesses and organizations easy access to relevant information. Our goal is to facilitate the search for information in public data and enable greater social participation in our state.
