Acessibility

Ceará Transparente aims at being inclusive, therefore it is in compliance with the Electronic Government Accessibility Model (eMAG), a set of recommendations to be considered for the Brazilian government websites and portals accessibility standardization.

Among the recommendations suggested by eMAG and adopted by Ceará Transparente is the adequacy of the system so that visually impaired people can register Ombudsman manifestations, requests Access to Information and consult the Transparency Pages. For this reason, Ceará Transparente is prepared to be browsed by screen readers, programs that read information on the monitor and allow users with visual impairment or reduced visibility to use them.

The screen readers interact with the operating system by capturing the information presented in text form and transforming it into a spoken response through a voice systematizer. In order to use Ceará Transparente, users can opt for any screen reader.
